Carlyle Fiset, Reporter

Carlyle can now say he's lived in every corner of Ontario.

Raised in Northeastern Ontario, he knew he was destined for a career in broadcasting. Carlyle spent the last year of his high school education as a weekend announcer at the local radio station. (CJTT-FM, of which Randy Scheffee is an alumnus)

From there, he moved to Eastern Ontario, pursuing and achieving a journalism degree at Carleton University in Ottawa. A life in newspapers was never for him though, so he extended his post-secondary education in Southern Ontario (Toronto, to be specific) at the College of Sports Media.

His education at CSM landed him an internship, and eventually a job, at TSN's SportsCentre as a writer, and its TSN 1050 radio station as an anchor. Television was where Carlyle always pictured himself though, so he jumped at the opportunity to become a reporter in the Northwest. He's thrilled to anchor your weekend newscasts, and report on Thunder Bay's top news stories throughout the week.
